Description
Getting back into Hybrids with a new villain.Sydney Lechoix used to be a weakling who was pushed around his entire life. He could never fight back because every time he did, he would get beat down. All this weakness made him one step away from doing something bad like causing a buying a gun to make sure no one would mess with him again. Unfortunately, on his way to a gun shop, the DNAftershock occurred and Sydney was transformed into a leech Hybrid. Considering himself a freak now, Sydney snapped and started attacking anyone around him and he found out two things immediately. He found that when he attacked people, his venom caused them to hallucinate and that his hands have become new mouths that he must feed from now.
Para-Psyche is probably the weakest enemy the Hybrids have ever gone up against but during the first time they meet, Para-Psyche gets them to fight on his turf in the sewers and he quickly defeats all of them. He used stealth tactics to bite them all one by one and caused them to hallucinate and be useless for fighting. If not for Komodo, then they all would of been trapped underground to be used as food as they're slowly drained down to mummified corpses.

I get it that when people push you around like that you want back
but using a gun to solve your problems
and when people bully other people they are deemed as human garbage

Sadly, there are people out there who feel powerless enough that they think a gun is a solution to their problems.

Well, getting a gun to protect yourself isn't bad. But if he was gonna hurt people just because they were jerks, that's awful. Considering his actions as a hybrid, it looks like it might be the latter.

You're right, it was the latter. That's what happens sometimes when people feel powerless, they get something to make them feel powerful which in this case was a gun and he probably would of done something awful with it later on to some of the people who pushed him around.

Of course, nothing wrong with self-defense, but like Uncle Ben said, "With great power, comes great responsibility." But noooooo, this guy just wants to BE the bully for a change. From my experience, the worst kind of bullies are the ones that were once victims. Because it is hard to convince them they are anything but a victim.

Yeah, that's the kind of angle I'm going for this villain, as a victim of bullying for years, he now sees himself as a victim any time he does something cruel to others. In his mind they did something that forced him to attack them.

No problem! And sure!
Name: Adsila Blevins
Code Name: Akhlut- Named after an aquatic, orca-like spirit in Inuit mythology that can take the form of a wolf-like creature to hunt on land
Gender: Female (obviously)
Hybrid Form: Humanoid Killer Whale/Arctic Wolf with a wardrobe similar to TriSara but with less padding and more skin coverage
Human Form: Similar to your character Sarah Kensington but of Inuit ancestry, with her hair in a fishtail braid, a necklace similar to this one that she continues to wear as a Hybird, a light colored and loose top with three-quarter long sleeves, dark jeans, and hiking boots
Powers/Abilities: Cold Immunity, Enhanced Durability and Strength, Enhanced Lung Capacity, Water Sense, and Water Absorption/Water Breath (that last one is an "advanced" Hybrid skill similar to Shellshocker unlocking more of his Electrokinesis)
Story: Still kind of flimsy on the details but there are some details I definitely want included
-Childhood friend of Tim Ordus since before he parent's "accident"
- Her mother is a political figure and because her family and neighbors do not fear Hybrids, has managed to make it so that those who were affected by the DNAftershock and live close to the Blevins family didn't need to be relocated to the "The Zoo" so long as they stayed nearby.
-After a while of living underground, Tim/Shellshocker was persuaded by Adsila to move in with her and her family until things returned to "normal"
-After Adsila became a Dual Hybrid, the couple started sneaking out at night to assist The Hybrids, try to stop the Jurassic Lords, and save the Hybirds that have been unjustly "quarantined".

How do you pronounce Akhlut ?
What's her hybrid anatomy like ?
I can't guarantee that she'll have an outfit similar to TriSara because she has the resources from Trex to get her outfit made and other Hybrids have to try and make their own outfit with whatever they find.
What is water sense ?
There's some things about the story that caught my eye that I want to discuss. What kind of political figure is Adsila's mother to where she can get her daughter out of the Zoo ? Plus wouldn't she have to worry about her image as a political figure if people find out about this ? The part with her and Tim sneaking out might not work because there is a giant wall with guards on top that keep anyone from coming in and hybrids from escaping. Plus there's gun mounted helicopters for flying hybrids and submarines and police boats to keep aquatic hybrids from swimming away.

1. Not entirely sure but I probably pronounce it "Ah-kloot".
2. Fast forward to about 15:35 of this episode and image if the guy with fins had a little sister who was also part lycanthrope.
3. That's ok. Was kinda just throwing that out there to see if it would stick.
4. Here's the definition of Water Sense that I found: The user can perceive the movement of/on a body of water with extreme accuracy and determine where threats are placed in water sources. They can even understand the size of targets in water by perceiving the waves interfering with certain movements of bodies of water.
5.
a. Actually I was thinking that Adsila managed to avoid capture. After all, didn't you say some Hybrids could switch between their human form and their altered form? Thinking Speaker of the House who managed to pass a bill saying that if at least 75% of a neighborhood is okay with the Hybrids living in the immediate area staying where they are then the Hybrids in question need not be relocated so long as they stay in that area or have a non-Hybrid escort(her neighborhood was fortunately one of those 75% cases) and she's in favor of left-wing politics: willing to accept what's new to the world even when others fear it.
b. So then what about the main Hybrids team? Were they put in the Zoo also or did they manage to avoid capture?

Zigwolf In reply to Master-Of-Dreams [2016-01-28 06:39:50 +0000 UTC]
1) Ok.
2) Alright, so I'm thinking, what if she looked a bit like Shark Girl from the X-Men www.disposableheroes.co.uk/ima… , Orca from Batman vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/m… , and Wolfsbane from X-Men vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/x… ?
4) Sounds a little complicated to understand. Maybe instead of water sense, she could have something related to sonar since she's part whale.
5) Well, being able to transform between human and hybrid forms depends on how foreign the animal DNA is. Like Prime can transform easily because both his human form and Hybrid form are apes. Echo and Fast Kat can turn with some concentration because they're mammals. Eagle Eye being warm blooded can turn back but needs some effort. For Hybrids like Komodo and Arachnera, it will be almost impossible for them to turn back because they're a reptile and arachnid. I think for Dual Hybrids, it gets even harder to change back because they're dealing with two sets of animal DNA instead of one like normal hybrids.
It's good that we're getting a good political figure but I'm wondering how much she can get done on her own since Hybrids here are treated like mutants in the marvel universe where most of the government see them as a threat. Maybe she could give up her seat as Speaker of the House to get her daughter freed
The Hybrids are stuck in the Zoo. So to give you an indication of what the Zoo might be like. I'm using this map as an example s3.amazonaws.com/pix-media/blo… the red area is the Zoo and the rest of the map is the city that has no Hybrids in it. Between the red and orange zones is the 15 story high wall.

2. Sounds good to me! Just make sure she looks gentler than the way the characters are portrayed in the images you shared.
4. Ok. I was originally thinking that but I wanted to try and keep her powers from crossing over too much with members of the main Hybrids team.
5. So perhaps since both parts of Adsila´s animal DNA are mammal but is a Dual Hybrid she could be on the same level as Eagle Eye: A step above what it would be like for a Hybrid with 1 non-primate mammal in their DNA to transform back and forth.
That would definitely make for an interesting story and perhaps be a driving force behind Adsila´s actions (besides the factors that drive the main team and Shellshocker)
Yikes. Though this does bring up another question: Are the Jurassic Lords in the Zoo also or did Trex´s government connections/sheer power keep them from getting stuck with the rest of the hybrids?

2) Yeah, she won't be as fierce looking as the examples I used.
4) I get what you mean. Though I think there can be some different elements to Echo's air based sonar and Adsila's water based sonar.
5) I like that and it makes sense.
Agreed, it makes for a very untypical motive for a hero.
Well the way it goes if this was a series was that the Jurassic Lords at the end of season 1 revealed themselves to the city and then activated the DNAftershock after their defeat to change 1/3 of the city into Hybrids. Then when the second season starts the Zoo is built and the Jurassic Lords are nowhere to be found. Even the team starts to speculate where they've gone to.

2. Good because those examples did not fit her personality at all
4. Ok. Hopefully we can figure something out
5. Glad you agree. Unfortunately this means that the only way Shellshocker's turning back to human is if somebody finds a cure.
Atypical yes, but not unheard of. Personally I think it falls under the same category as "Making the hero's parents proud" or "Making up for something that wasn't the hero's fault".
Ok. I was just curious because there would be a major "plothole" as to how The Hybrids would get anything done if the Jurassic Lords were still the main villains in Season 2 but were roaming free while the good guys were in essentially the Animal Kingdom's version of Alcatraz.

Zigwolf In reply to Master-Of-Dreams [2016-01-30 23:14:09 +0000 UTC]
4. How about the a more powerful version of her sonar can function like a sonic attack and she can send it through any water source. For example, she could be in an ocean and send her sonar attack through the water and it will directly blast her target and nothing else.
5. Yeah, though a cure can only exist 2 ways. 1) A genetic suppressor to suppress the animal DNA in a Hybrid's genetic code (this way is temporary) or
2) Have a sample of a person's unhybridized DNA so that it can be used to write over the animal DNA.
Agreed.
I see what you mean, The Jurassic Lords are actually hiding out as humans for most of season 2. That's why we won't be seeing them.

4. Sounds like a plan!
5. Than it's a good thing Tim was a blood donor!
Glad I'm not the only one who does. Though...since it's so hard for a reptile Hybrid to turn back to normal that means Trex would probably have to have invented genetic suppressors for all the Jurassic Lords, right? He doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would go through all that trouble to obtain the power of a Tyrannosaurus Rex just to give it up in order to avoid capture.

4. Sweet.
5. Hopefully the vampire bat hybrids haven't gotten to that blood sample yet.
Well I think the Jurassic Lords might have given themselves a special strain of the Hybrid formula that makes transition from human to dinosaur more easier than it is for everyone else. They developed it, so they the capability of doing that.

5. Yeah, it'll be interesting to think about how these hybrids survive in the city when the animals they're apart of now survived in the wild and were eating each other.
Yeah, the bad thing with them besides that they're villains is that they have an unfair advantage over hybrids whether it's with the kind of hybrid serums they develop or having technology to cover what ever shortcoming their hybrid form has.
