What would Team Sonic be without their muscle, the Red Brawler, Kuh-nuckles. (Just kidding, Flapjack joke)For Knuckles' new look, I wanted him to have an underground fighter look and for his bulky, muscular body to have more of a balanced look, so it wouldn't seem like Knuckles on steroids.
For his gloves, he's the only one I gave sports tape for his arms since it makes sense for him to have them as a fighter. His gloves are fingerless, showing his for the first time and a big difference from his gloves before are that his spikes are metallic. He has brass knuckles underneath his gloves where the spikes come from.
Nothing too showy with his pants, just wanted something he would just wear and not care about how it looks.
For his shoes I looked at his original shoes and Sonic Boom shoes and combined them into these ones that look like Knuckles has had them for a while and the colors slightly faded from them.

Well I don't have a full story right now but I do have some plot points
- We'll see how Knuckles lost his entire family and became the last Echidna
- He'll abandon his real name and family purpose of guarding the Master EmeraldΒ to leave behind the bad memories
- We'll seeΒ him become an underground fighter and lacking a name, he'll go by his most dangerous feature, his knuckles.
- Finally, we'll see how he comes to team up with Sonic and Tails after Eggman steals his treasure hoard, which has a chaos emerald in it.

Shade is still on Angel Island but she's kinda off on her own for the moment
Well the only Echidnas in the world wil be located on Angel Island, First Knuckles will be on his own but then Tikal will live there then Shade and a few members of the Nocturnus Clan will make it their home.

Rougher than the rest of them, the best of them, it's Knuckles the echidna. He looks great, like a real bruiser. Now, what kind of personality does he have? Is he the no-nonsense guardian, the funny dumb-muscle, or is it something else entirely?

He's a bitΒ like aΒ no nonsense guardian at first but after losing the master emerald, he becomes an aimless wanderer who fights others in cage fights justΒ to get by until he can find a clue about the emerald. He's a bit dim witted because he's never learned anything beyond what was around his island, but his hearts in the right place. Knuckles is also quick to anger because he's too easily fooled and when he finds out about it, he starts fuming and goes on a fist fueled rampage.

Ah, a bit of both columns. I think it fits well; not dumb, just unaware of the world outside of the island, and an honest sort who gets angry when his trust in someone is broken. A lot like his original counterpart, with a bit of Boom tossed in, right?

No I nixed that weird ability. Instead he uses his metal spikes to quick scale up walls and using his leg strength he launches himself off the wall, into the air and that gives the illusion that he can glide.
