For our DC Legacy (or DC 15 Years Later) me and bkno came up with the idea that multiple Jokers have existed throughout the years. It all started with Arthur Fleck and since then, Gotham has been haunted by laughing figures that emerge from the shadows to cause chaos and anarchy.

Each Joker takes something from the others' history to the point where all their backstories mix together and it becomes multiple choice on which story is their's at any given moment.

Don't look too deeply into the years (you know who you are). They are just to show the passage of time and how many Jokers exist at certain times. They don't mean much right now.
