Description
For our DC Legacy (or DC 15 Years Later) me and bkno came up with the idea that multiple Jokers have existed throughout the years. It all started with Arthur Fleck and since then, Gotham has been haunted by laughing figures that emerge from the shadows to cause chaos and anarchy.Each Joker takes something from the others' history to the point where all their backstories mix together and it becomes multiple choice on which story is their's at any given moment.
Don't look too deeply into the years (you know who you are). They are just to show the passage of time and how many Jokers exist at certain times. They don't mean much right now.

He's the one true Joker from the comics. We just changed his alias of Joe Kerr into a real identity of Joseph Kurtis.

It's not a two faced character. They're the twin jokers from the Gotham tv series.

Yeah, I don't outright hate his performance, but it just wasn't very Joker like. It was his character was trying to be like Joker and failing.Β

Yeah, it would of improved the movie a bit if this Joker was Jason Todd as people rumored it to be. He got the "DCAU Tim Drake Treatment" and was turned into a Joker after his assumed death. It would of been a great twist if Joker showed up during the climax of Suicide Squad and he goes in for a kiss with Harley and she punches him before saying "Who the hell are you ?". He says he's the Joker, but Harley says "No, you aren't." She spent the whole movie assuming Joker would save her but then this stranger appears in his place. Then Edwards (the guy who blew up Enchantress' brother and sacrificed himself in the movie) comes out of the shadows and goes to Joker and says "You're not Joker, you're Jason Todd. I fought by your side for years and we never should of assumed you were dead" Then Edwards hands him a blue birdarang and Joker starts to have a nervous breakdown and throws a grenade to escape. In a post credit scene, Joker is using certain chemicals to take out the pure white of his skin and green of his hair and his takes on a more normal look and is Jason again. In the corner, we also have a red helmet that Jason may or may not use.

I honestly think he could be anyone like wither Dick and as you mentioned Jason & Tim. Who knows for sure of this Joker, we'll have to wait as the DCEU can expand itself like it should have from the beginning.

Personally, I think WB should abandon the idea of a shared universe. What they need to do is get a feel for other heroes with solo-non connected movies. Marvel did it from 1999-2008. All the movies that came out showed what worked and what didn't. It kinda layed the groundwork for what the MCU should be and what it shouldn't be. But WB only had mostly Batman and Superman movies until they tried Green Lantern in 2011. That failed and they went right back to Batman and Superman with The Dark Knight Rises and Man of Steel and then BVS: DoJ. They need a few more experimental movies get a feel for other characters before expanding to a larger universe. It's worked so far with Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Shazam, though they need to go further.Β

True, I honestly wouldn't mind a movie about the Question, make it like a crime drama with a shady style of old New York with a compelling story. I can say the same for Swamp Thing if they ever wanna take a step like that, make it a strange horror tale of our green friend. XD

That's something BKNO and I came up with. One of Joker's alias' was Joe Kurr, but I thought that this was too on the nose, so I expanded it to Joseph Kertis as his former identity.

I like this idea being so many Jokers taking on the mantle over the years. Really drives home the point of Joker having this many backstories, and no one knowing for sure who he REALLY is.

Yeah and in the future, all of their atrocities get mixed together to form the idea of future Gotham citizens that this one clownish figure did so much suffering and took so many lives. Really turns him into a legend.Β
