My reimaging of the titular character from the Sly Cooper games.

Backstory: Sly comes from a long ling of master thieves known as the Cooper Clan. Their lineage dates back centuries and their greatest treasure is the Thievius Racconus, a book built by the egyptian ancestor Slytankhamen I and owned by all Coopers where they recorded their greatest secrets and techniques with which they performed their greatest heists with. Sly was only five when his father, Connor decided to show him the book so Sly can understand the honor it meant to belong to a family such as theirs. One night, the Coopers were attacked by a group of villains led by someone Connor Cooper knew as the Winged Terror, a figure that has plagued the Cooper Clan and hunted many of them down. Connor lost his life defending his wife, Maria, and Sly. Maria then lost her life getting Sly out of their burning home. Sly hid himself for the rest of the night and returned to his burned home at the break of dawn. All that was left for Sly to collect from his former home was Connor's hat and cane as well as the binding of Thievius Racconus, its pages taken by the people who left Sly as an orphan. Sly would hide the cane and book binding in case anyone, like the cops, would try and take it from him.

Sly was later picked up and placed in the Happy Camper Orphanage, though the orphanage was anything but happy with the mean Headmistress, Mrs. Puffin, who had a strict way of running the orphanage and keeping the kids in line. Sly felt alone here until he saw a small turtle and hippo planning something. Seeing that they were going to steal Mrs. Puffin's secret stash of cookies, Sly pointed out how their plan wasn't going to work with just the two of them, they needed a third kid and only then would the cookies be theirs. Sly introduced himself and found out the names of the kids, Bentley and Murray. Together they performed the heist and almost got caught, but made it out with the cookies in tow. After getting their share, Sly, Bentley, and Murray gave the rest of the cookie jar to the other kids and from that moment on the three weren't just best friends, they were brothers.

11 years later, the trio struck out from the orphanage and made a new home for themselves in an abandoned train car just outside of Paris. Sly would also return to his former neighborhood to regain his cane and the Thievius Racconus binding. With thievry as part of their lives now, the trio would steal from criminals and villains as to hold themselves with honor and not become low down thieves who steal from anyone. So the trio built up their skills and earned a reputation as the thief group known as The Cooper Gang. During this time, Sly would meet the only person to ever steal something from him. That person was Carmelita Fox, and the thing she stole was Sly's heart. During a heist, Sly helped Carmelita, who was a rookie cop at the time, recover the Diva Diamond and reveal the person who stole it. Carmelita was commended for her role in this case and with Sly revealing himself, this put the Cooper Gang on her radar, so Carmelita would be after them for the next two years. She would follow virtually anywhere, like from Nashville to Norway, Bonaire to Zimbabwe, and from Chicago to the Czech Republic. Sly would finally lose Carmelita in Bombay after he stole the Fire Gem of India from a crime lord masquerading as a honest business man.

For years, Sly had Bentley hack into Interpol computer to find out if there was any alerts about the villains who killed Conner and Maria Cooper and finally there seemed to be a hit on who they were. The only problem, the information was being kept on a closed hard drive and as such, hacking wasn't an option. Sly would have to break into the Paris Interpol Offices to get his hands on that drive, so that he could finally bring down the villains that murdered his parents, get justice for Connor and Maria, and recover the stolen pages of the Thievius Raccoonus. This was the ultimate test for Sly and he would either fail and possbily die or overcome any challenge in his way and become a master thief like every Cooper before him.

Powers/Abilities/Skills: Sly has amazing agility, balance, and reflexes. Sly knows parkour, gymnastics, pickpocketing, and safecracking.

Equipment: Sly's main weapon/tool is his father's cane which Bentley has outfitted with tricks like a stun charge on the handle/hook and smoke bombs that can come out at the bottom. To help see long distances and keep in touch with Bentley and Murray, Sly has his Binocucom, which also functions as a camera. Sly also has an earpiece to keep in touch when the Binocucom can't be used at that moment. Sly's back pack isn't just for keeping stolen items, it also has a paraglider inside for a quick escape but slow descent to the ground. Sly's ultity belt is for any tool Sly might need for heists when just his cane alone won't cut it. Though he won't reveal how, Sly found a way to make his boots soundproof so he can sneak up on virtually anybody.

Additional Info
1) Sly's full name is Sylvester James Cooper. He does not like to ever be called this.
2) Has a terrible Italian accent.
3) Is a big fan of spy and heist movies, but also has an annoying quirk of pointing out how certain plans in the movies would fail if done in real life and how he'd do it instead.
4) When Sly was 7, he went through a whole acrobat phase.
