- This Flash gained his powers from a random lightning strike when Barry was on top of Central City Police Department building. His heart stopped for 2 minutes before someone found him and got medical attention. The epinephrine and defibrillation revived Barry but that chemical and those shocks to his body along with the effect of the lightning strike seemed to cause a "meta reaction" in Barry and he soon found that he could move at superhuman speeds.

- Flash moves at a base speed of 500 mph.

- In order to center himself at being able to move faster than any living thing in the world, like Barry has a pet turtle (named Merton) that he takes care of, a Zen Garden, and is planting Sweet Potatoes, Spinach, and Tomatoes. Slowing down to really make sure he does all of these right is a bit relaxing.

- Barry needs to consume 30,000 calories a day and 70,000 when he runs for extended periods of time.

- Barry helps power the city on a large gyroscopic device with a treadmill in the center. One hour of running will power the entire city (with every light on at once) for an whole week. Barry is rewarded for his effort in powering the city grid with money and while he would normally turn it down , Barry does need the money to pay for the large amounts of food he needs to consume. If he doesn't consume enough, Barry becomes extremely tired and could pass out.
