So just like I did for the Wayfinder Trio www.deviantart.com/zigwolf/art… , I decided to do the same for The Destiny Trio and with redone outfits since I didn't like their KH3 outfits and appearances.

Riku has had a hard time since freeing himself from the control of Ansem Seeker of Darkness. His use of his Keyblade, Soul Eater, consumes one's life force and it was weakening Riku's body, even taking away his sight. Riku would use his own heart to guide him from location to location and through combat, By the climax of KH2, Riku would turn Soul Eater into Way to Dawn and become strong once again without a weapon that sapped his power. After becoming a Keyblade Master in Dream Drop Distance, Riku was tasked with gathering the Seven Guardians of Light to battle against the Thirteen Seekers of Darkness. This task is very personal for Riku as it isn't just about stopping the darkness, it's about stopping his grandfather, Master Xehanort.

Kairi has been busy since the end of Kingdom Hearts as she used the heart of Destiny Islands to travel the World Lanes and end up in her original home Hollow Bastion. Since she was in such a hurry during all the chaos at Hollow Bastion in KH1 to ever rediscover her past, Kairi never got to see what her life was once like other than a memory of her grandmother in the castle library. Talking with the citizens of Hollow Bastion, Kairi was shown to be known by a few of them and together they helped show Kairi her original life and learn a few things, like how Ansem the Wise was her father. Kairi would spend the next year learning so much and gaining wisdom that would make her father proud. Before Sora showed up in Hollow Bastion for KH2, Kairi would go searching for the last connection to her father, a masked figure named Diz. Kairi isn't defenseless in this journey as she gained access to a Keyblade hidden in the Castle Gardens, one by the name of Destiny's Embrace. Kairi is also accompanied by a very special feline creature who is guiding her through her Keyblade training, one called Chirithy. Kairi wears a spare scarf that once belonged to her father as a way of honoring him. During KH3, Kairi is training Lea on the Keyblade fighting basics so that he can be ready for the fight against the Seekers.

Sora has been through quite the journey with first trying to find Riku and Kairi to protecting all worlds from Organization XIII to failing to become a Keyblade Master to helping his friends and allies fight the Seekers and gain more candidates for Guardians of Light. Sora wants to be worthy of a spot but he's going through an emotional journey that's making him unworthy at the start of KH3 and learning of his dad, Ventus, being a Keyblader also doesn't help. So Sora needs to discover the aspects that make him a great warrior, his valor, wisdom, mastery, limits, and seeing his journeys through to their final conclusions. Even if he cannot be worthy enough to be a Guardian, he knows he'll fight for his friends and be there for them in their darkest hour.
