She's here, actually really here and it's been so long and she's changed. It's making his head hurt, trying to fit this new version of Noodle into the place in his heart that remembers her so young. In his mind she's been fifteen all this time, still a skinny coltish girl, stuck that way forever just like her cyborg stand-in. But time marches on for real flesh-and-blood humans, and to his amazement that skinny girl is all grown up now, and--

--and he's so happy to see her and so scared to see her and he doesn't know what to say.

And there's the rub, innit?

But at least she's here after such a long time. At least she's actually really here.

This one was a little rushed at the end, which is why the background is "meh", and I can see all sorts of mistakes-- but it's 11 PM here and I wanted to get it finished in time for 2D's birthday. D'aww.

I think I did a good job on the toes. Toes are hard, guys. :[
