I think I'm finally getting a handle on Phase 2 Noodle-hair!

Anyway, I drew this after spending a frustrating morning practicing my guitar. I've only been taking lessons for about... two months now, so I still suck a lot. It's maddening. But maybe that's why I draw Noodle so often? There's a sort of kinship feeling, that whole "girl guitarist" thing (although she's a cartoon and I, of course, am made of fleshy human-bits and not pencil lines).

I didn't draw Noodle's usual acoustic-- I just referenced my own guitar. It's not as bad as the last guitar I drew.

There's no excusing the crappiness of the background, though. It's so miserably plain. It doesn't look like Noodle's room at all, unless maybe she went on a crazy fit of tidying up. >_<; Shaaaame. I drew the lantern in at the very end, using my tablet. I hate you, lantern. You are lame.

However, I AM super proud of the shading and highlighting, especially on her hair. I think it came out really nice.
