hmm....Trying something a little different from my usual 'style'. I was trying for a Victorian lithograph feel, almost macabre but not quite with this. Its supposed to be an interpretation of a dream. Like you are looking into the persons head as they are having this wierd dream about choices. Hence the dreamlike feel to it.... no really...
ooo, i hate doing new things LOL I never seem to get things quite right
maybe this will be moved to my scraps sooner rather than later.Stock from *lockstock (yes I used this on my last piece. I just like it ok?? LOL)

This is excellent according to me, the only thing I'm not too sure of is the blurryness of her hair. For the rest, I can only very much agree with all the things ~brassdollfin mentionned. I love how sober you let the things be, you didn't use too much tralala, instead, you let the elements in your work speak for themselves. Beautiful work XD

yes the choices..what we are making our lives through. the idea and the art, 10 over 10. I am happy when I see such works. It is beatiful.

I love the dream-feel to this piece, and the monochrome palette works well. I like the vagueness of the mountains in the background, and the subtle patterns like wind-blown sand in front of the doors. And how the light seems to be coming from everywhere and nowhere, and she is almost glowing with it. Nice work!

This is wonderful! I don't see why you're displeased with it. You certainly have a good deal of that Victorian flavor (I own a good many books from that period, and you have the feeling down cold). Beautiful!

very cool picture, and idea... I love the dark gloomy feel it has...
but I just feel that the large amounts of white in the corners and edges (not talking about the border here) , I just think that they take away from the feel of the picture, and more or less make me not like it near as much...
Still very well done, I just wish you would have filled in more to the border
