3DS Mesh and Render, Photoshop Brushing and 2D work--- --- --- --- ---
Isn't it amazing when you start off a piece of artwork with one idea and it turns into something else? Yesh! This one started off life as me trying to model Barbed Wire and ended up with this!! (no I wont do a walkthrough, i'm not even sure how i got to it myself. maybe its VooDoo...)
Anways... This is a small part of a much bigger image which I will be submitting later today when I've finished all the details. I'm submitting this cos I just loved the way it turned out
Again with this submission all the brushwork is done with my Intuos2 tablet. I'm starting to get the hang of it now and I'm getting a glimpse into just how powerful a tool it can be.

Dude, the dig the vectorized fireball in this work. It synchronized the transition of vector and the mesh polygons. Very tasty.
Excellent overall composition. Definately a fav.
PS: So, a tablet really makes a difference?

yeah, the tablet is so much different. hard to explain, but until u try it, you dont appreciate just what u r missing out on. The level of control u have is amazing. I would recommed it, definately
