Okay. Finally, an actual reference sheet.See, it's all official and shiny 8D okay so no shinies
It's actually pretty halfassed but whatevers
Xaraki lacks a solid story because I lack an imagination. someday, indeed.
Name: Xaraki Kaekunzai
Birthdate: February 24th
Race: KyaRaian
Element: Nonelemental- Illusion
Height: 4'8 (at shoulder)
Family: One older brother; Shinerai <3
Personality: Stubborn but lighthearted, mischievious, passionate, talkative and a bit crazy. She usually knows what's going on but acts oblivious.
She has a humanperson form, but I can't draw people. :[

You expect pink or red or something fiery like orange but BLUE it's on the other side. That's a completely different color scheme from the regulars and it's still just wow :3. Even if it gets reused a bunch by everyone at some point Β it'll always be cool (You see what I did there?). Black, grey, and purple are good too, but green tongues will always just look like shaped barf to me. Gross.
I have dragon envy. All my babies are too dang thick, and I can't draw digitigrade feet to my satisfaction yet. They look too cartoony to me, so I growl and frustrate.
I have an OC named Ethan Li, who has two verrrrrry anime-influenced forms and one NSFW one he hates (his true form) I can't describe much except that it involves some very very icky tentacle substitutions and several odd-placed eyes, leech mouths, hands, feelers, etc on a humanoid frame. His dragon form is kinda like the dragon... boy... person... from Spirited Away (urg name forget urg) but more for the long slender graceful oriental look than coloration or personal traits. He has six long thin flowing antenna and three black horns. Blue.
His base (blend amongst the earthlings) form is basically a cute skinny almost-completely-androgynous dude with blue cat eyes. D'aww...

and her design! I've always loved it, especially the stripes on the wings, and the way you've pulled off red without making her look like a firetruck.
I've never really been a big fan of miscolored gums/tongues/etc., but I LOVE Xaraki's blue tongue. It might just be that I like blue, but it really works. plus, it's fun. ;D

Beautifully done reference (have I ever yold you your characters' design is so stunning, so gorgeous? I love this combination of pattern, bright and dark colors, and the unique shape of her bosy and mouth especially... then the wings... there's so much to say about her that I've always admired.)
I hope to follow such a strong example like this with my own references. ^_^ Nicely done!
