Description
Drawn on 11-3-15 with pencils and colored pencils.Before drawing this, I had finished watching Advent Children after not doing so for a very long time xD it helped renew my obsession with seven, which had been slipping a bit. So I ended up combining his three major stages: infantryman, SOLIDER, and Hero
that coloring was a real byotch in the end xD but I think it turned out swell

Wow, I LOVE this idea. Okay, how did you get such a vibrant effect/solid colour with the coloured pencils? If you compare this to my coloured version of Going Home, you can see the texture of the paper through the colouring and it's not very vibrant/solid. How did you do that?
Also, just a tip, same goes for markers, coloured pens, etc; make sure the strokes of your coloured pencil go in the same direction for a neater, more polished look. *thumbs up*

Holy crap. I don't think I could do that - colouring that hard. That might also exacerbate my carpal tunnel, better not push my luck. I love that the colour looks so vibrant though. I never actually liked using coloured pencils before because I could never get the colour as solid and vibrant as I wanted (never thought about using a lot of pressure, lmao), I'm not crazy about using markers (though, if I had some copic markers, I might like using markers more?? I dunno) and I'm not good with paints - though once in a while I do dab into using acrylics. Very seldom though.
Ah, you're welcome - one never stops learning, be it with art or otherwise. We only improve gradually until we die. XD

Yeah, it hurt after awhile and you constant have to sharpen your pencils xD you have carpal tunnel? =o yeah, I never did much either until I learned how to make the colors pop, but otherwise I stick to sharpies, I love using those to color xD
