So, in honor of One Piece returning after its 4 week haitus, I decided to do some fanart. It's been way too long. Ok, this picture is supposed to represent all of the battles Luffy took part in in the previous chapters of One Piece. I always liked the concept of scars and how they tell a story. Well, try and remember where each one came from and let me know if you recognize all of them ^_^If i missed some... I'm sorry -_-'

wait no, i got it,
There were bite marks from his fight with Arlong on his arm, side and neck. Crocodile had left a huge gash from when he had impaled him with his hook. Aside from those major ones he also had the scratches from that cat butler guy...whatever his name had been, as well as the spike wounds he had received from Don Krieg.

I always did kind of wonder why he never scarred beyond the one under his eye and the X on his chest, given all the abuse he's taken over the run of the series. Guess it would be too time consuming to draw, but still. Ow.

Oda likes to pick and choose which scars deserve to stick around XD it's how he develops his character design.

The holes on his hands are from that one super strong pirate >_< Forgot his name, but he had that blanket of spikes or whatever..... I don't know what that one big hole is from though D:

Scratches of his wrist are from Kuro, bite marks are from Arlong, sun scar is from Crocodile, and the holes in his hand are from Don Krieg

This is sooo cool!!! I am a huge fan of One Piece!
ok, so, the bite marks are from Arlong. The sun shaped scar on Luffy's stomach is from Sir Crocodile. The Scar on his shoulder is from a poisoned spike from Don. The scars on his hands are either from Magellans poison or from Don's spiked cloak. And I'm not sure about the scratches, I can't remember how he got those... I'll try and find out!

This is absolutely amazing! I never understood why Luffy only has the scar on his face(and now the X scar on his chest) after all he's been through. Even if he is rubber he would still scar!

Allright! The bite marks are from Alrong, the scar on his stomach are from Crocodile, and maybe Lucci.
The marks on his hand are from the fight with Don Krieg.. But the scar on his shoulder.. .. Hmm.. I DON'T KNOW!!!! D'':
