Before you ask, no that wizard staff isnt his. Yes its stolen and Skizrak thinks hes being very clever by hiding it behind his back. The shopkeeper of course, was not pleased. His reaction is depicted in the top left.

Ok so this is the last you'll see of Skiz for a little while, pinkie promise. I just love this derpy little guy. I think its because I see a bit of myself in him. Here you can see him when he was younger, a pitiful street urchin garbed in rags and poor as dirt. Scratch that, most dirt is probably worth more than he is. On the bottom left, thats him a bit older and slightly more worldly after being dragged along on a few adventures.

Art wise, my goal was to play around with different poses and expression, mix it up a little bit. I like how it turned out, mostly. Hands remain my greatest enemy, and will likely remain so for a long time qq.

Right, enough rambling. Here's his backstory. Does anyone even read these things, or care about that sort of thing? Let me know in the comments I guess.

Skizrak is a kobold kleptomaniac and general nuisance that operates in the port district of Botown. Truth be told, he’s not very smart, even so far as kobolds go. Like many of his kin, he’s as skittish as he is impulsive so he mostly sticks to petty crime, and is quick to turn tail and run at the first whiff of violence. Pickpocketing and cutting pursestrings is his favorite, when he thinks he can get away with it, but usually Skizrak sticks to shoplifting and the odd burglary here and there. He's technically a low ranking member of the district's criminal syndicate, but more so by their insistence than his desire to be part of any sort of organization. His motivations are not necessarily driven by greed of the traditional sort. As he would put it, he just likes “the shinies”, and frequently roots through refuse piles and garbage bins if he gets the notion that there might be something good inside. The syndicate just sort of lets him be, keeping an eye on him to make sure he doesn’t accidentally bother the wrong people. Unlike most of his kin, Skizrak’s scales are a collection of bluish hues rather than the usual red. He doesn’t know why this is; neither of his parents were blue, nor were any of his siblings. As children, his brothers and sisters would tease him by saying he’s blue and thick headed because he didn't get enough air when he hatched. He and his family live in the Brackenwoad district of the city where many other kobold family-clans live.
