I think I'm influenced by the title, but I think this rendition of Chrysalis looks boastful and defiant. She's prancing around sticking her tongue out, saying "Come and try it if you think you're hard enough--I live forever!" Relating the image to my idea of a Changeling Queen, I hear subtext of "Even if you stop me, you'll never catch me, and I'll slip into the shadows to pull my next trick." I think this is really evocative, and it inspires me to write fanfiction about the character it evokes.

Here's a question : If someone fell in love with a Changeling (with the creature ITSELF), could the Changeling feed on that love?Β Given the implied parasitic nature of Changelings, it might somehow be unsuitable.Β Y'know, too "honest."

I love the design work you have incorperated into this. Chrysilis does indeed look repulsive. The tounge out and squinted eye adds to this. But i also find they give the image a bit to much. Of course if this is your own artistic prefence thats absolutly fine gorgeous work. Im a big fan of you art.
(One little Question. has Chrysalis donned armour or is this her insectoid carapace?)
