fully done in Photoshop6.0 with mouse - took about 3h to make (optical mouse is p.i.t.a)

A lovely pic!! I really like the way you did the short fur,and especially the mane. Looks very silky I would only suggest some more light reflecting of the eyes,to make them stand out a bit. but that's all,great work,especially with a mouse!!!
