You may well be wondering why this patch was never intended to be in stereo…
Because it’s a MONOCLE, stupid!
Well then, this eye-patch sounds truly phenomenal…
It comes with a unique ADDITIONAL FUNCTION!
It can actually TRANSMIT SOUND!!
Just what you always wanted!!!
*At least, if you scream loud enough at the stereo cables twisted around the arm of the glasses the patch is attached to, the person wearing the eye-patch will probably hear you.
Please note that the PDF file included below which can be printed onto A4 adhesive labels, includes patch templates for the left AND right eyes…
So that means that if you really want to, this eye-patch is now realizable in full stereo!
It could be the STEREONOCLE you always wanted…
EXACT CAUTION! This eye-patch was designed to enunciate EITHER eye. You are hereby warned to NOT wear the STEREONOCLE as it may well disturb your vision.
Let it hereby be known that I NEVER intended you to have a patch over both eyes!
I mean, you could if you really wanted to.
All I can do, however, is warn you against this dangerous practice…
But still, if you really wanted to, I wouldn’t stop you...
After all, I’m hardly in a position to make you do anything!

To make this patch you require the following items:
[1] A PAIR OF GLASSES
- Please note that to make this patch you will need to push out the lens of the eye you are patching.
[2] FILE FASTENING STRIPS (x2)
- You use these to bind documents together in archives; you can get them everywhere in Belgium. Here’s a link to show you what you’ll need:

[3] RED AND BLACK STEREO CABLES
- You curl them around the art of the frames and stick them under the front piece of the eye-patch…
[4] AN A4 PRINTABLE ADHESIVE SHEET

It’s just so easy! With a pair of scissors and a determination not to stab yourself, you too could make this patch…
…Well it actually isn’t that easy at all. In comparison to Floor Lino Embossing which is only in my imagination impossibly difficult, making an eye-patch is ACTUALLY tricky. It requires precise cutting, folding, pre-creasing and exact placing of the adhesive layers between the small sheets of plastic and inserting the flexible metal strips in specific places underneath the labels so that they are fixed to the eye-patch pieces and so that they can be conveniently pushed around the edges of the frame to hold the patch in place.
When I’m making these eye-patches, I have to follow the instructions each time and not skip a single step. Unfortunately, this text is still in the making. Eventually, however, the completed text and film will follow and the PDF templates will include individualized instructions...
If you can believe it, the making of eye-patches is comparable to origami: if you don’t pre-crease and fold carefully, it will just look like it was done by a genuine eel choker…
