I frequently post progress pictures of all the plushies I make.
This is a custom Vinyl Scratch/DJ PON-3 plushie from the show: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She is 18" tall shown with an iPod touch for size comparison.
She is made of a soft snow-white velour with a mane and tail made out of super soft minky that feels incredibly to touch and huggle with ^^. Her eyes and cutie mark are both machine embroidered with Sulky thread. And yes, I did choose to go with her fanon eye color; I think it looks better and has a more appealing contrast against her coat. ^^
This is my very first full plushie, and she has consumed 25+ hours of my free time, with very little prior sewing experience. She comes with her own glasses that are removable, and that truly makes her one of a kind! ^^

I never made pony plushies, only small things, the size of a keychain plushie and would love to make bigger sizes. Yours is the most accurate Vinyl Scratch I've seen.

Well, there are plenty of resources online to find one. Just do a google search of "mlp pony pattern." I'm sure you'll find one that will be good.

Use minky for everything. It's the best plush material.
I only used it for her mane because I couldn't find a white minky locally.
But yes, definitely use Minky.

I buy from a certain place Called "Blue Moon Fabrics" which is in the fashion distric of LA; what they have is top-notch.
But there are other places that carry really good Minky such as MinkyDelight.com.

You could look on Fabric.com, they have snow white minky if you ever need it again.
