I really like the job you did here. Great work in choosing the angle as you capture all the dimensions of this work. The horizon with the water was a nice added part to this pic as it gives the viewer a sense of something happening off shot. The color scheme was well chosen with the right level of contrast to highlight what you wanted highlight. Great work!

I took several shots.
I was looking to the straight line of brick from the building I was in.The reflection of the newly risen Sun reflected also.I am so pleased it is so well received.
I wanted to shoot the Sunrise over the Atlantic and the Reflection was a bonus.
From Dawn to Sunrise in 5 minutes, follow the links. [link]

I live rural NJ maybe our most urban state. So what you see of my place is not typical.
See this [link]
Most cities are not pretty,I only try to show the pretty.
Not on this one.Atlantic city was in decline until they allowed the Casinos in.So much old was torn down for the Casinos and a lot of empty lots are still there where houses were.
Now we are Vegas East.

MassimilianoW In reply to zjessez [2011-02-27 17:09:43 +0000 UTC]

Allright, I didn't know that. I thought the state NY was the most urban.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

zjessez In reply to MassimilianoW [2011-02-27 18:38:06 +0000 UTC]

NJ is a small state this is an estimate 8000 sq.miles
NY is over 54,000 sq.miles.
Only a small area is urbanized, along the Hudson River. There are other large cities in central and Western NY.In and around NY City just may be the most urbanized.
The Adirondack Mountains are vast and mostly wild.
Google them.
If you are still curious Google population density of any where.
Google has it,I'm sure.
Google yourself on DA and you may be surprised.
We are all recorded by Google.

PortlandPhotography [2011-02-22 07:05:03 +0000 UTC]

Very impressive when you consider it's shot through a tinted window. My instincts tell me to do a small lens-distortion correction, and sweep-in a filter on the sky/sea/land of the left-1/3 to see what I could do with color contrast there, but that's me, and this is your shot--and it's a nice one at that! Cheers.
