Just to get this straight: I've never been to Japan and I never even bothered to look @ wikipedia for seasons and when the "Sakura blossom" time is. I only used a ref for the general idea of how those green trees look. It might need some post-work btw.EDIT: I have been to Japan now, and have seen hundreds of Torii, so I have corrected the painting somewhat. I think I managed to make it look not-so-very-uber-unrealistic in comparison.
Acrylic paint on a 45 x 60 cm canvas.
Big hug to for giving me the canvas and lending me the paint! And for the little pink fake flower that I tortured into an application of course

I like just about anything Japanese themed and this painting is very well done.

Yah! I'm going this christmas.. so i wont be seeing those pretty cherry blossoms XD since it'll be winter. haha yeh it quite hard to get a large amount of money together to go on a holiday there.. especially if u dont work XD
