Also Sans loves his brother! Even if Pap is acting weird, he cares about him!
And if his brother is worried, you bet he's gonna do his best to comfort him
Considering how long Swap hasn't seen his brother, you really can't blame him for running up to Sans :'D (his old timeline was the genocide route all the way so he never met Sans again past Waterfall. Ever.)
