The logic really doesn't work here. US Papyrus is getting angry over nothing.
Papyrus first reaction to a child covered in dust was to let them kill him.
Bringing Papyrus wouldn't have helped. Its not Papyrus's nature fight back even against a killer.
That's not treating Papyrus like a child or "underestimating" him. That's being realistic.
And yes while everyone else does get killed eventually.
They at least fight back against the human.
Its logical to leave Papyrus behind since he will inevitably refuse to fight even if everyone will die otherwise.

Wow, US!Papyrus, you just say and heard the Echo Flower but you are saying all this in front of it? Hopefully, you remember and make sure to erase it soon (we know they can record entire conversations since we heard what monsters were wishing for in the cave) otherwise I'm going to be annoyed haha.
