The Libra characters of the series are human Olivia Hill and her astral counterpart, knight Shallan.

Olivia is friendly, serious, decisive, and speaks her mind. Sometimes, it's not what others want to hear, but what she, as an often objective observer, thinks they need to hear. She's not one of the more forward characters, but she is vital in many moments, especially during the plot when a Mercury retrograde causes astral Gemini to go Dark, trapping some of the kids in the astralverse while shadow versions of them wander about. Olivia is the only one who can tell the shadows apart from the real cast.

Shallan might not be as assertive as Olivia. He prefers to quietly observe and only make a decision or comment when absolutely necessary. He functions as a defender and peacemaker of the astralverse.
