Some friends of mine (I am not looking at you Bumbelbee and Tatsu! Shion >_>) have been trying to convince me for quite a while now to upload my sketchbook classics.Here is a collection of a couple of anatomy sketches after Bammes.

I did not ... censor out anything because I think these are anatomy sketches and they are rather harmless. Shall you feel offended for any reason anyways I would prefer if you just go some place else and let those enjoy the drawings who want to.

heh, and today I was looking for some reference images of human anatomy... and I think I looked in every medical encyclopedia in my school library, but i didn't found anything useful >.>

How do you study anatomy the best? Just draw from Loomis and anatomy books? I was kind of wondering ^^"

I would suggest to look for books that not just show drawings of muscles for you to study from but that also show the name of the muscles and explain the exact function of all.
It also is a good approach to go way "underneath" it all when you want to understand it altogether. Also practicing lines and seeing forms can be of big help. For understanding the function at its best I would suggest Gottfried Bammes to you.

Thanks a lot. I need to collect all my old stuff first. Think I should be able to collect back till 2000 and make some nice overviews. Some kind of portrait evolution table is what I recently've been thinking of.

I just have 3 photographed right now. Because I don't have a scanner this is a little annoying since I have to readjust the levels of everything carefully to make it not look like a crappy photo... but I could surely just post those unique photos first and later make the improvement table.... XD
