I found another classic on my computer today. Arms and legs after Bammes.Still got to take photos of so many other lovely sketches, though.

I always liked this kind of sketches mainly for learning purposes.
They may seem antique but are much more nice to help us knowing better our complexity form than many modern designs that seems to be too much worried about being just entertaining.

That's true, the older books were much more about functionality than the new ones. I also must say that I rarely see any well researched anatomy books when I take a look around modern publications.

yeap.
It's somehow funny how some things in old times, in what trainning is concerned, seems so much more appealing to really know difficult things than the incredible well designed books we see everywhere nowadays.
Too many times eye candy things go against the functionality, as you well posted.
If you have more of this drawings don't hesitate to share with us... We will need always the good old times.
