Big up the furry whistle posse in the area.
If anyone was wondering what the semi-officially retired zonefoxy was up to nowadays, maybe this is a suggestion.
I'd say he's doing a fairly good job of keeping it real, too. Hehehe.This is a partial tribute to the oldskool underground dance culture and the music I brought myself up on in the early nineties. Ten years old and so into rave, hardcore, techno, trance and house it's a wonder how the old Mega-CD-turned-hi-fi coped, not to mention my long-suffering parents.
It's the likes of SL2, 808 State, Urban Hype and Prodigy that made me what I am today. Partially deaf and impatient at most things under 140 B.P.M.
But hey, good times, good music and it paved the way for my Trance and Electronica obsession toward the end of the nineties and beyond.Oh, one more thing... hands up anyone who thought a picture titled 'Hardcore Furry' was going to be naughty. tut tut.

Nice o_o The lighting's awesome. I like how you silhouetted entire parts of his body, leaving only suggestions of shape, and hints at his color and/or the light that's bouncing off his fur... And the smoke's an EXCELLENT touch. Really sets the whole thing off. I like very much so.

Unfortunately not in the official STC Online, as it uses official characters only - but some of the old Zonefox and Zonerunner stories will be put up on DA very soon as soon as my girlfriend finished the proof-reading

I'd say it would be better to keep it as authentic to STC as possible - with a multitude of fan characters things could get a little confusing to new readers.
Still, doesn't stop me from producing fan character work in my spare time

I know everyone else has mentioned it time and again already, but the coloured lighting you've got here is used a very impressive manner. It makes it set the mood of the image quite well, and it makes you want to jump in and engage in a vigorous bout of the whole "Big fish, little fish, cardboard box" routine.
What else can I say? I love this pic, great stuff.
