Finally back again with some art

Bison latifrons (also known as the giant bison or long-horned bison) is an extinct species of bison that lived in the forests of North America during the Pleistocene. This species of bison, at 2.5 m tall at the withers and up to 2,000kgs, making it one of the largest ruminants ever, rivalled in mass only by giraffes and the prehistoric long-horned buffalo Pelorovis. B. latifrons thrived in North America until the end of the ice age, along with lots of large animals across the globe

The initial inspiration was when a friend showed me this paper digitalscholarship.unlv.edu/cg… , Showing Latifrons lived in more closed wooden habitat, as opposed to modern bison that like open grasslands. This lifestyle is similar to modern Gaur, so I used the animal as inspiration to really try to make it more distant than other reconstructions, taking into account its different habitat. I have to say this came out really well and really like it. Thank you for reading and have a good day
