Due to only have two digits, I always think that the ponies just use binary as their default interface with computers, as oppose to just common spoken language.

At first I didn't think TV tropes had a good page to link for this comic, but figured I'd check just to add onto it.

No.... TV Tropes is the worst place for learning in the history of ever. Sure, its good for a background check on something, but most of it is infodumping barf. My advice to dash would be, Stick to the method you learned in the episode. It's a lot better. (Picture is awesome By the by.)

Yes, TV tropes is a very clear and good example of a Tangential Learning method done well; as case by it's reputation.

No, this is a terrible place to go to learn because it's something that would almost always hurt anyone trying to study and learn for a test; as case by it's reputation.

Looking at it now I wish I inked this one, but did I kept the pencil-work relatively solid it works well enough for what it is.
I'm planning on taking commissions sometime soon as well (I actually want to try and make some money to take a trip to Galacon, which would be my first convention), and any support from people who like my work is very much welcome.

Relax, tropes are tools. Tropes are not bad.
Plus, makes you realise reality is not realistic sometimes and helps you avoid clichΓ©s.
Tropespeak is just a secondary effect of all the information you are learning.

Honestly, I feel a bit lazy because I didn't bother inking it at all.
Still, I like doing linkwork on paper instead of my tablet. It's just more intuitive for me and gives that nice sketchy look. Though I could use an actual nice camera with proper lighting for it instead of a phone picture while sitting in my bed, lol.
For paintings I stick to the tablet in photoshop, much more convenient and easy.

Do you have a pen tablet/display? Photoshop really only works well for drawing when you have that. I'd also suggest trying out traditional painting at least once. It really gave me perspective on how to approach painting after all of the time I'd spent failing at painting in photoshop.
