I had a vision of this image in my mind for a long time. It's from a story that I am working on right now. I am a big fan of any architecture that is associated with bodies of water. I started to look at a lot of Italian architecture to do this matte concept.I also entered a contest on this subject which was hosted by Bobby Chiu(Alice in wonderland concept artist) and judged by Dylan Cole(Avatar concept art director). Due to lack of time, it had a lot of flaws but I still managed to win it.
. After that, I worked on it for a day to finish it off. It was 100% completed in Photoshop with no use of 3D.it has completed in a time period of 3 days. My thanks to Dylan Cole and Bobby Chiu for the contest.(Photoshop.3010 pixels wide)

This is amazing. The detail is superb. The line structure is fantastic and the drawing is really well done.
The body of water gives this picture a sort of fantasy aspect, Mystical sort of feel. The background gives more feeling and depth and suites the body of water and foreground very well. In all I see no flaws. Even the water coming from the boat is very realistic and true to what you might see in a photograph.
I especially like the way you have done the light streams coming from the sun behind the large building connected to the bridge, pure and natural.

This is absolutely beutiful mate, the depth and atmosphere you give the piece is soo dreamlike. With the bird and and sof like coming in, this is one of those places that i would love to wake up in and never leave
