Description
I had a vision of this image in my mind for a long time. It's from a story that I am working on right now. I am a big fan of any architecture that is associated with bodies of water. I started to look at a lot of Italian architecture to do this matte concept.I also entered a contest on this subject which was hosted by Bobby Chiu(Alice in wonderland concept artist) and judged by Dylan Cole(Avatar concept art director). Due to lack of time, it had a lot of flaws but I still managed to win it.
. After that, I worked on it for a day to finish it off. It was 100% completed in Photoshop with no use of 3D.it has completed in a time period of 3 days. My thanks to Dylan Cole and Bobby Chiu for the contest.(Photoshop.3010 pixels wide)

From the crepuscular sunrays tothe shadowedside of the right building, i don't know what i like the most about this. I wish i could have it in an 11x14" frame on my wall

Oh my, this is amazing! At first I thought it was 3D, but then I read the description, and I can only say that I am stunned by the realism you achieved by just using Photoshop. It looks so correct, with great use of perspective, light and shadow. The details are lovely as well, and I can't believe you were able to finish it in just 3 days.
