K... this is a last update for this week... I got to stop for a special project that just came up...Next update will be full arm with wires and everything...
This is basically a gun that in normal state will sit hidden inside the arm... I am still working on the mechanism in work, but you get the idea...
Two vectors renders on the bottom to spot the details better...

nice plasma array, reminds me of a weapon for a character of mine; what kind of specs do you have for it? is it a modular gun that you can attach more to or one of those holdout style weapons as a emergency last weapon; or a good blaster weapon? hehehe

Hmm... I like it, but I dont like how the hand tilts down on that weird angle. Should be more sexily hidden into part of the arm.
Perhaps if the hand becomes a support/auxillary weapon when in full-blown-big-gun mode. Or better yet (and 50x more complex) have the hand turn/mold/meld/interlock with the larger gun, then it goes away and looks better.
Just some ideas.
