Nice animation, I like it better than the recent one. The mech looks really nice, but the TV doesn't play MTV so screw that one

Nice work (works without downloading for me)
The section between the pelvis and the torso looks a little weak....
How do you make these (program)?

its a 3D model made in Maya. I then setup a camera on a path and do a vector render with black line outline.
The model is identical to the way it was portrait in the movie(Robocop 2), therefore everything was done according to the original design.

with the 18 years old movie there isn't much stuff online... to be honest, there is more stuff now then 3 years ago(i made this in beginning of 05), but it was fun making it because i like this robot. it was fun animating him too. [link]
by the way... thanks for the favs and overall support of these works. its good to see another fan of the movies.

yea... robocop2 is definately a misunderstood film.
highly underated and more cerebral than most are lead to believe.
like you, i got a fetish for really elaborate robots with thousands of moving parts a little gizmos.
and thanks to you, there is now the most complete reference of robocop2 available. you have done an amazing thing.
think about it wont you?

u mean screensaver? i think there are programs out there that let you do it with avi or mpg files... but in order to do so.. you will need the original render.. wouldn't you?

I don't know if XP allows it but, with some of the linux box & I think BeOS, would let you set a animated gif as a desktop pic
