Description Finally found time to finish this simple animation. Its been a while since I have done any at home and I need to... i really do. Its vector style render so the file came out a little big. so give it sometime to load. I don't like putting loaders in as I don't want people to wait. so first time is slower then normal.

Ones again as before.

Modeling, animation, rendering is by me.
Rigging is be Stev Kalinowski at [link] one of top riggers I know.

other works like it:

This is truly awesome. Not sure I'd call it simple animation though, really fluidic motion and attention to detail make it look very realistic even with the vector style render (which incidentally looks brilliant). First rate work.

Never ceases to amaze me how well ol' Ed's design still holds up, even after all these years. By far the coolest robot out there I know. And you did a smashing good job on him. Delightfully detailed.

Fantastic work! I love the attention to detail: how all the little pistons, vents and smaller mechanisms move along with the legs and arms.

Much as I live in fear of the possibility of a smoothly animated computer-generated ED 209 in this rumoured Robocop remake people're talking about, this is a gorgeous rendering. You really capture the weight and lumbering gait of the stop-motion original. No mean feat either - I find a lot of renders and even finished film effects these days can lack respect for the basic principles of physics and gravity. So, excellent work!

Now all he needs is a set of stairs to tackle...

I don't think you will, hopefully. But if you have any other avenues to take care of, it's probably best that you deal with those if they are important.

game designer is different from game artist...
designer doesn't actually do any art... its two different positions.

There's Eddy! It's nearly always a bad sign when this thing starts moving. Somebody is bound to die a horrible death, before ED short-circuits itself. Lol.

p.s. started to model robocop when my main machine(the one I work on)broke... i think its a video card. now I am sitting on my secondary one. waiting on the parts...
