Description
Finally found time to finish this simple animation. Its been a while since I have done any at home and I need to... i really do. Its vector style render so the file came out a little big. so give it sometime to load. I don't like putting loaders in as I don't want people to wait. so first time is slower then normal.Ones again as before.
Modeling, animation, rendering is by me.
Rigging is be Stev Kalinowski at [link] one of top riggers I know.
other works like it:

r u talking about geometry on the right foot?

OliverMcCann In reply to zoomzoom [2009-09-08 22:10:53 +0000 UTC]
watch on its right foot (our left) when its facing us, when it move the foot a little overlaps with the leg
its only very minor flaw, i have been staring at this for a long time so i was able to see it :3

yea.. i know. i only noticed when the render was completed. got lazy and didn't feel like waiting another couple of hours while it would re-render the fix. and now i got to go through all the steps in flash too.. too much work.

Great work man! usually Im not a fan of cell shading, but this is very nice work.. Looks like you spent a lot of time in the details. The animation is quality also - there is very much a sense of weight when it moves, and the way the back of the legs / hips work is right out of the movie. Love it!

yep. we made them work like it did in the movie. that's the idea and the challenge in both cases with this one and CAIN from part 2.
reason i do cell shaded(vector art style) is because it shows all the modeled details that way.

Ahh, yes - that makes sense. Cell shading does show off geom very nicely... thats why I so rarely texture any of my stuff Your Cain model from 2 is bad-ass to the max - 2 of the best movie robots for sure. Hope to see more from you soon!
