Description
An Osprey (Pandion haliaetus) poses with its catch (what appears to be a headless mullet) in the sanctuary of a protected marsh. A pair of American Avocets were not thrilled at the raptor's presence and repeatedly dive-bombed the intruder; the Osprey couldn't have cared less and went on to enjoy its meal.Photo taken in Orange County, CA.
