So this one I've had in my head for a LONG, LOOOOONG TIME! Since the moment Maleficent had finished in the theatres, I was absolutely horrified to see Maleficent become the exact polar opposite of what she's supposed to be! This made my fears of the then-announced live-action remakes follow the same pattern all the more frightening. So, to coincide with a very mean tweet I posted way back when, I FINALLY made this bit of silliness a reality in which classic and beloved characters are getting the pink slip and being notified of their expected replacements.

Maleficent: Heroic Hollywood Diva
Cinderella: The REAL Ugly Stepsister
The Beast: A Werewolf from Twilight
Cruella De Vil: Secret Agent for Animal Rights

They've no one to blame but poor 2010 Alice and Oz-car Diggs, whose success only encouraged even MORE of these live-action films. Hoping for more Oscars? Or some bigger box office records perhaps? To be fair, I really enjoy both of the aforementioned films but I don't like the attention they've gathered from the charts and it really pains me to use them to personify the motives. I'm not too happy about these....I can only hope the rest don't screw up as badly as Maleficent did. I never though I'd say this, but I feel so bad for her right now.

UPDATE AS OF 2015:

Now that we're back in the present, I realize that this picture is HEAVILY outdated. As it turns out, I actually really enjoyed the new Cinderella. Of course, I hold the classic one in superior regard. But keep in mind! I had this in mind WAY before any of the trailers for Cinderella were released or any of the casting news for the upcoming BatB. I'm still highly skeptical for the future releases. ESPECIALLY what with the new announcments made thanks to Cinderella's success...but more like that later!

As of right now though, please do enjoy this little piece of outdated random silliness.
