"When the day becomes the night and the sky becomes the sea, when the clock strikes heavy and there's no time for tea. And in our darkest hour, before my final rhyme, she will come back home to Wonderland to turn back the hands of Time."

So what started out as simple practice of drawing Alice, Tarrant and the recently re-introduced Time turned into a fell on dump of sketches with Iracebeth and Mirana added in later for more practice as well. I don't really know what I was trying to prove by making the sketches different colors. I think I was trying to be artsy or something. But, as if it weren't obvious enough, I LOVED the new film. Moreso than the first, actually! It hit a lot of notes that were really close to me so considered my long wait for the sequel officially satisfied!
Of course, I did these before the film came out. Actually, that same book I mentioned before, "A Matter of Time" was a big help in finding a good reference for style for these characters. Out of all of them though, I think I like how Time came out the best. Given that I had never drawn him before, I was quite pleased with how he turned out. Iracebeth comes at a close second though. FAR better than the first time.
I have a feeling that I'd like to do something further with these sketches...but I can't put my finger on what.
