No adventure is too big for these little men.

!Long before the poisoned apple, the Seven Dwarfs lived with their own kind in a secluded village just beyond the borders of the kingdom. They lived in harmony and spent their days working to their hearts content. But what happens when you're torn from home? These seven little men will need to keep together if they're to survive their journey in search of a new home. But there's more danger to this tale than the dwarfs themselves could imagine. Are they brave enough to make it through the woods, ward off horrible beasts and survive the wrath of a wicked Queen? You know their story and who they share it with. But many questions persist as to where dwarfs come from. Why do the dwarfs live alone in the woods? Why do they seem to know the Witch? Was their encounter with Snow White all just a coincidence? The answers to these and more all lie within.



This is the FINAL story I am announcing to be in progress. This particular story is one that I've been trying to tell for over five years and it's been on and off the shelves. But finally, I've fixed up the plot holes and have tied together a story that I hope you'll like.

Anyone who knows anything about Disney history will know that one of Walt Disney's dying instructions was to leave Snow White as it was. No sequels, no additional media, no anything that might mess it up. Despite this, there were attempts to create a Dwarfs prequel film that would have been done by DisneyToon Studios. Due to creative differences, the project was shelved. (As was a live action shaolin monk re-imagining of the dwarfs from which I borrowed the name from.) As of recently, Disney's television division has been able to cheat their way around that with quirky non-canon spinoffs, addicting fairy tale dramas and god-awful channel original movies. That being said, I would never want to go against Walt's wishes. However, if you were to look at his as just another fan work, then it's really nothing serious. After all, the same policy applies to all of the other stories I write. Unlike many fanfictions that claim to be what REALLY happened, I only offer this as a means of 'what MIGHT have happened.' I don't intend to put any spins on what is already cherished. I'm simply adding on to it while trying my best to not get too convoluted.

The idea itself came from watching the first Hobbit trailer and wanting to put the dwarfs in alterntate costumes and borrowing the name from the aformentioned abandoned live-action film. I was trying to practice my digital art skills as I had been inspired by my friend, Nathan . When I was unable to make a decent digital piece, I tried to focus more on the story aspect. I had built certain pieces that I liked, but eventually chickened out. For the next four years, stories would flood into my mind, be tested, then abandoned. The only ones that seemed to stay were this and Journey to Neverland . So I continued to write for The Order of Seven and found that I suddenly was able to piece together a decent story. (Although by my standards, it remains to be seen what the non-personal equivalent would be.)

As you can probably tell, the elements of this story are borrowed from not only the original 1937 film but also from Once Upon a Time, the works of Tolkein, elements of Fantasyland from the Disney Parks and even a hint of the Disney XD show, the 7D. In spite of this, everything will remain within the Snow White film universe that we've come to love. So if anyone is worried about me botching anything up, please trust me when I say that I know what I'm doing.
(And before you ask, no: the dwarfs will NOT be wearing Hobbit garb in this story. That was merely where the idea sprouted from, and sadly, many had already beat me to it by the time I had a rough draft of this picture.)

I'm sure this is not a new idea and that THOUSANDS of other people have done it before and better than I. But like I said, this is my way of telling what might have been and since I've worked so long on it, I think it's fair that I finish this FIRST before posting any of the other stories I'm also currently working on. (This is also to help me try to recover what I lost from SUPERNOVA again. Seriously, can anyone help me with that?) Following this will be a short story I promised to a friend long time ago. After that, it's anyone's game as I aim to complete ALL of these projects before the end of this year.

I'll be posting some concepts and illustrations soon. Expect the first full chapter to be up before April. If I'm lucky, I'll be able to live up to my hope of releasing a chapter every week in an episodic manner. Until that time however, I hope you like this little picture I'm finally somewhat satisfied with.

I know I've promised a lot of stories, and trust me, they ARE coming. I'm just trying to finish what I started before I go completely crazy.
