Wow. That's so beautiful. Like it's almost untouched by time and modern man. I love the mist coming off the lake... is it early morning?

Kertakaikkisen kaunista. Pitäisi joskus itsekin malttaa lähteä kameran kanssa sumuisena aamuna vaeltelemaan.

Mahtava kuva! tähän olisi hieno editoida viikinkilaiva tulossa sumusta ja miehiä rannalla odottamassa/ puollustamassa yms. kivaa..

Kiitti.
Isommankin kuvan saa tarvittaessa.

So beautiful. It looks like a perfect setting for a fantasy book.

Thanks. It was also pretty fantastic to see it in real life; one gets this view only a couple of times a year, as the weather conditions need to be exactly right.

Very nice picture. The fog and general lighting really make for a very wonderful gloomy and mysterious atmosphere.
It's really interesting too... I have seen photos of so many different countries but the terrain there is very different. It looks blotchy (so many different colors in the grasses and weeds so close together) and scratchy (those white weeds in the foreground are really wiry looking)
What are those strange heaps with- what looks like- twisted tops? Man-made?

Thanks! Let's see what's in the picture.... The ground is partially still hoarfrosted, so that explains the white blotches. Part of the 'greenery' consists of different types of moss. The ground is also very uneven, so the low-standing sun would create longer shadows. The heaps are traditional haystacks. I *think* they're there because the local community wants to keep the trodden path to the nearby Stone-Age campsite clean.
I guess I was lucky to hit the spot in the right weather, time (the sun is just rising), and with a camera. It was truly pretty out there.

That's a lot of moss O_O
Ah. That makes sense XD Are those stacks far from where you were standing? I have never seen terrain like that in my life. It's really cool.
Indeed. Must've been even better in person. o_O

Well, moss isn't the dominant element here, but you can see it upon the rocks and nearby them. The haystacks were some tens of meters off, down a small hillside. IRL, they are maybe a meter or slightly more tall.

OH! That's what it looked like but I always imagined hay stacks being taller XD

Holy cow...that's...INCREDIBLE...I mean gorgeous! Of course, I don't live where we get a lot of Green, but there are some pretty spactacular views around here too. ^^

What kinds of eyecandy sites do you got around you (I'm always interested in learning about different countries)? Finland is sparsely populated, and consists mostly of forests, countryside, and lakes, so there's a certain tendency to greenness. XD XD
Thanks ^^
