what i love the most is the other guy trying to hold him down
it reminds me of something strange. as if he were invisible, like an angel
trying to soothe him, maybe because the other guy doesn't seem to acknowledge that he's here

I love this shot - those expressions are priceless! Too bad about the blown highlights, but I really don't think they take away from the quality of the photo. And those must have been difficult conditions to expose in - ISO 900. The most striking thing to me is how relaxed the cop looks in the face of so much anger.

You've really captured the moment well here.
You can almost see the hate shooting out of his eyes.
And the blur of his right hand kind of lends itself to that "I'm going to smack the hell out of you" feel.
(He has a cool t-shirt though.. If I must say so myself)

i don't understand why you complain about the lighting - it works perfectly here, together with the background.
the digital DR is limited yes, but the lighting is great. maybe if it wasn't average center weighted the RAW would have more juice... no?

the metering is quite spot-on - the sun was going down in the background, so perhaps even film wouldn't have helped.
