MINECRAFT! Now you know the reason for my delays in writing. Well, one of them.Just a few points I'd like to clear up:
1) This maze is to be done in CREATIVE! There are no stops for food, no armor, no weapons, and no healing potions. And it's hard enough getting through this without Spider Jockeys chasing you, Creepers blowing up in your face, and Endermen rearranging everything.
2) I will say it again: I did not make the original maze. TGFWritter did. You can find the original plans [here] .
I'll say more about it when I finish and put up the next preview. For now, if you wanna know about this build, just ask in the comments.

I think I'm... going to challenge my friend to this. He does hardcore minecraft, and I kind of want to see his brain fry.

It was even harder to make. I downloaded MCEdit to try and get rid of the ground under that section (because until I decided to do that, I was literally replacing everything by hand), but at the time, MCEdit wasn't up to date with Minecraft, so all it could do was delete blocks; anything else would cause it to crash and close. So I deleted the ground where the glass section would be.
I then had to build the floor, walls, and columns of the glass section entirely by hand. With no floor. Not. Fun. It's better to navigate at night since it's more visible.
I'm taking a different approach for the Ice section. Lay down the walls, then MCEdit the floor away. Make things so much easier. Oh yeah, there's an Ice section. You can't see ice through ice. >:3

There were a couple of other people who commented about making a Minecraft version. Months ago, actually. Jokingly, admittedly, but I pretty much said to myself and them, "Challenge Accepted". And I put out results before them. I guess I can say "First" too. Heheh.
OCD? Hardly. Have you seen my room? Heh. But yeah, when I get into something interesting, my mind kinda sticks there and I hate to be interrupted. If it weren't for other things like reading, writing, and reality, I'd probably be done by now.

Jezus, this is F-ing amazing. I thought the most that my maze wold get would be to have a couple people finish them. Not someone making a Minecraft version of it.
Sincerely, you have my thanks to your clearly obsessive compulsive disorder, else I doubt you'd be able to have done up to this point or this far.
It's awesome BTW, I wish I had minecraft to play through it.
