Been wanting to draw this for some time.. I have a few megaman zero Zeroes on my gallery, but not yet a X styled Zero, so hmm.When the little robot was announced for TvC (which is still unsure if it's really him or Zero Akuma, who can choke on a cock), it was a very neat surprise, specially because he's been needing to be in a Capcom fighting VS game for a while, you know?
He WAS in Onimusha fighting game, but that's not exactly a capcom fighter..
Then the last straw is that everytime I check a thread about the new characters in Tatsunoko vs Capcom there is so much hate to the fact Zero is in the game.. What the hell kids have been playing nowadays? Devil May Cry? the hell!
Anyway, I only wanted to draw Zero, and since I've done a lot of white BGs recently, i slapped something in there, reminiscent of MMX circuity's interiors.
OH, and I tried following some sugestions about simplifying my shading, and yo ucan see I totally failed.

EDIT: Took out the circuits because they were rather lazy.. Less is more I guess?
EDIT2: Added new BG, at least now it looks like megaman x stuff!

awesome, to clear up the TvC drama, the only reason people might be annoyed by him is becuase hes that good plus very easy to use, hes one of the funnest characters to play, Zero/Megaman Volnutt team = fun times
Also what you on about simplifying your shading, its cool as it is imo

Yup, while his lv1 supers arent very good (except that the first seconds of this beam super is invincible), he's ridiculously strong, having it so easy to chain his lv3 in the middle of a combo. I've seen some crazy japanese dudes on youtube too, easy 75% damage!

Mas ficou muito bom! Desde o megaman X4 eu saΓ³ jogo com o Zero e achei muito dahora ele estar no tatsunoko vs capcom! Esse povo dos foruns de hoje en dia Γ© muito estranho, tava olhando o forum do muramasa do gamefaqs outro dia e sΓ³ tinha gente irritante >.< tinha sΓ³ uns dois topicos bacanas.
Anyway, gostei bastente do fundo, ficou bem megaman X mesmo, e o zero ficou muito bom, o colorido e os brilhos estΓ£o arrasando!

Sim, o meu nick vem exatamente do X4, apesar deu ja curtir ele desde o primeiro X! Quando vc escolhe o X ou o Zero no x4 aparece o nome da arma deles tb, dae a zilhoes de anos atras qdo fui registrar num forum, queria usar zero de nickname, mas ia ter um milhao de copias

Thanks! the saber was kind of complicated, while I normally do a default way for shining stuff, I kind of wanted to give it a mix between the way i draw the sabers and the way it's done in the ps1 games, I had to redo it a few times

Haha, actually while it probably looks like so, I didn't want to include it because since it's supposed to be in the left shoulder, it wouldnt appear very well.. Though I could then draw it on the right shoulder and invert the image, but then the Z would be inverted too haha.

Dude, who the fuck told you to simplify your shading?? If anything you should ADVANCE and COMPLEXIFY your shading, but just make sure your values and contrast make your focus where it should be.

this one looks like you tried to over simplify. It aint you pal. Like i said, be as COMPLICATED as you want, but make sure you have your silhouettes and your background and foregrounds all mapped out.

ahah You should play all like, megaman x and megaman zero games, if you haver the time (x games until megaman x5 though, which is the true canon according to the creator). Megaman Zero follows directly after megaman x5!
And the Zero games are very story heavy, contrary to the regular games. I really recommend it!
