well if we consider when she got the letter and the service she had to give since that letter was addresed to a princess who is the co-ruler of equestria and the guardian of the moon, having in mind the flying time from ponyville to canterlot at a constant speed from an average pegasus having in mind she didnt had anything that slowed her down like delivering another letter in the way she had and the time of the day that letter was delivered then we can finally say nope, she didnt screw anything, but thanks for reading my nonsense

Well, when I was digitizing it I was ready to draw Celestia but then I realized I drawn Luna in the storyboard/sketch so I went with it because in all honesty I didn't felt like re-drawing that part xD.
So yeah, it's normal to expect Celestia I guess.
