Scarred. Betrayed. They took her job. Her life. They left her with nothing - but purpose. This wasn't about revenge. Revenge is for outlaws, for those who disregard morality for their own gain. This was about justice. And she would not stop until justice was served.This. THIIISSSSS. I'm super proud of how this came out.
I love the noir genre. The atmosphere of it, the simple yet effective stories. The truly intriguing thing about Noir is the fact the the protagonists are more or less normal everyday people put into extreme situations. That's what I envision Auby as. A normal human standing with godlike entities of light and darkness.
I feel I captured the noir atmosphere as best I could. I hope everyone enjoys it
