Description
ELIPSO FONT .ttf FILE - [link] (I've never used this file sharing site before, so if it doesn't work, just tell me..just scroll down to the greyk download button)This is Version 1.2 of the Elipso conscript (constructed script) for the English language. It is NOT a final version. However, I'm pretty happy with it currently, so I wouldn't expect many changes anytime soon. The one thing I DO have to do is decide whether I'll use new characters for numbers...hmm...
I started it about a week ago, and today I finished tweaking it. I had been studying the Shavian alphabet for the first time in depth, and it didn't really wow me, but of course it made me want to try my own alphabetic script.
I do have another conscript which technically is an alphabet, but it is written vertically and makes use of initial and final consonant forms, so it's not a conventional alphabet.
Here it is: (still unnamed)
Also, that isn't really the current version of it lol. 'sh,' 'm,' and 'n' are different at a quick glance. I should fix it soon.
But yeah. Here's Elipso. Hope some of you find it interesting xD
Also, I have to thank =KinkaKyaati for some feedback and encouragement xD

;w; This. This right here is awesomesauce poured of a bowl of awesomeflakes. *downloads*. It's hard to believe you came up with this, because like previously said, it actually looks like an authentic language. (more so than some official ones even) LOL I totally want to translate a (short) book entirely into Elipso just to see how cool it looks ~ <3
(Totally wish it was possible to get you're unnamed language into a font. ;w; I might die of excitement.)

Oh man, you are my new best friend. Anyone who is interested in conscripts and stuff like this is automatically cool as hell in my book 8-D
Btw, have you visited omniglot.com? I get a lot of inspiration from there. They even have a section for conscripts! [link] Oh, the beautiful hours I've wasted browsing that page! ;w;
I'm still working on the script though. Actually, the image above is a bit outdated; some of the letters have changed. But when I edited the font file to reflect the changes, I don't think it saved D8 So now I'm too lazy to go change it again. but I need to XD
(And what do you mean? Do you mean that you wish there was a font to type it with? Because it's there in the artist comments XD The .ttf file. Or did you mean that you wish it had it's own unicode set? Like, for example, Katakana [link] If so, then yeah, that would be cool! XD A couple of constructed scripts have already got an official part of unicode.)

It's just super interesting to think about how you can create a writing system. Its like a secret code only like 1000 times better <3~.3. and YAY CONSCRIPT BUDDIES!!!!!
No I haven't ever visited there until now. I was shocked by how many there are just for English, let alone the other bazillion languages there! I might have to join the admiring hours club XD their just so beautiful. ;w;
Writing is always starts as a work in process. I guess this applies to the script itself as well. XD You'll have to tell me when the image and font are updated so I can download them~
(I was referring to [link] it isn't possible to type since its written vertically right? XD I thought it'd be cool if you could some how manipulate it to go the right direction.

Oh right! My bad XD Nope I wouldn't know how to make a font for it o-o Unless I just turned the characters on their side...but then it'd be going right-to-left in columns when you un-turned them @@ Hmm

Your script is nifty. Most of the letters are so angular. Conscripts have such foreign appearances that I'm always impressed that no matter their form they still look like a language.
The layout of your page is perfect. It's easy to read, easy to understand and navigate.
