I hate seeing tons of random photos on dA. this isn't photobucket. I hate random 'lol' pictures and other stuff that everyone sees online, on dA. grrrrrblaarrghh..feel free to use.

Edit2: It's getting frustrating when it seems so many of you are hypocrites. Propagating a clean art environment, while actually doing the opposite!

No one can say what is art, and what is good art, however there are boundaries and standards. This is especially true within a community of dedicated, professional, and aspiring artists. So use common sense and keep your non-art out of here.
ie: Screenshots of your video game/rpg is not art.
ie: Copyrighted and/or images/pictures that aren't yours with text on them - not art
ie: Excessive or just dumb photos of friends/cats/whatever is just irritating. This isn't Myspace, Facebook, or Photobucket.
** I apologize to those that use this stamp, I will find the original file and correct the strange non-stampness of the top edge and bottom edge. very strange.

though some of the things i post aren't art by your definition, i put them up mostly because i felt like it or got bored, or i found it funny. it doesnt HAVE to be strictly art that goes up here, some stuff is rather fun to look at that "isn't really art" some of the best things are just random pics that are just funny.

I think some categories, like Deviant IDs can have this type of picture... but no one needs a hundred ":3" face pictures to represent themselves!

I love this. If I see another person post another stupid, ugly bathroom mirror photo of themselves taken from an angle that just happens to show everyone down their shirt, I'll scream!

So true! Thank you for that! Really, I'm glad. I'm also tired of another thing you didn't mention: the photos being put here because they aren't allowed on those other sites. Pornographic photos that are clearly there just because someone gets off putting up crappy, naked pictures of themselves.

Yah I had forgotten about that. I used to watch the "newest photography" feed, and I became really fed up with those images. I actually turned my mature filter on for a while. No one can really say what art is, but there are definite differences between nude art, and the lame or professional pornographic photos that some people put up.

Where it says "thumb" up there beside the artist comments. Copy that code, ":thumb73814904:" and paste that into your journal, or wherever you'd like to put it and then save. That should work for you.

Oh, I can help you out with what you need. Its in your settings. If you are a "Subscribed Member", which by the looks of it you are with the "=" at the beginning of your name. Then click on "Update Journal" at the top-right hand of your home page. Now there you will click on "Journal Enhancements" on the top-left hand of you screen. There you will find all the setting for your Journal area. Hope this helps. If not, just ask.
