Description
My first paying gig ever for some digital card game.I really wish they were better so don't be afraid to tear them up. If I do more work for these guys I'm going to make backgrounds for each card, time tables be damned!

The rightmost monster guys look awesome. My advice would be to try and get rid of most of the lines in these paintings. The wizard looks notably less worked on than the rest of these characters, I'm not sure if that was intentional but it does seem like a lot more effort was put on the monsters and skeletons, which are frankly very, very good. Also, for the swords, try to make up your own textures with the brushes. It's more work, yes, but it looks a lot less 'artificial', if that makes sense. Great work man, keep it up!

I agree with your points wholeheartedly. To be honest there's a lot I don't like in these, both in design and execution. I did these years ago and I'm not even sure I added them to my portfolio yet because of all the things that bug me about them... If I do I'll probably touch them up beforehand. Luckily though, I learned a lot by doing them. Hopefully I'll be able to do better next time.
