Description
A friend's fluffy dragon character, Pumpkin! This was terribly fun to do.Drawn on paper, colored in Corel Painter IX.

The detail on this one is great--all those feathers, and that moss. Very interesting dragon-style too.. a bit unusual but not startling. Very natural and organic/dynamic pose. Nice work!

Pumpkin is quite an appropriate name, as he (or is it she?) looks rather sweet and, of course, there are the warm brown-orange tones. (He also looks like he'd demolish a batch of hot pumpkin scones most rapidly, but that's generally a very sensible course of action.)
Nice depth to the background and I very much like the backlighting on the left-hand side of the work. The vivid blue eye makes a nice contrast too.
