Well I wasn't planning on putting this here since its just a rough boredom sketch, but people on LJ seemed to like it well enough. I did this at work with a ballpoint pen. XD Probably will scrap later.Oh yeah, and I know the anatomy is bad. No crits.

They illusion is poison to the soul, but from seeing this, I would gladly die a many life times to gaze at this bird in hope my eyes would grant the gift of flight from the page it has been born from, your brush is a goddess and thou art the creator itself, blessed be this phoenix as it flys through the realm of dreams in search of the evil that it was not cursed with knowing.

Thanks so much! On this one I just freehanded in inks, which is why I'm still buggered by a few anatomy mistakes here and there. But still, sometimes its fun to just ignore the pencil for a while and just go for it!

I love the roughness of it, actually. It gives the image a sense of life and movement, and it's overall absolutely gorgeous, right down to the little detail marks.
